Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
So this is a Tyre Pressure monitoring system for motorcycles, and this is an absolute must-have. First of all, this is easy to set up. All you need to do is attach the external sensors to the air nozzle of each tyre. Then just set up this display on the handlebars with this mount that comes in the box, and that’s it. The screen will show you the real-time tyre pressure and even alert you when a tyre has low or high pressure or when the tyre is running too hot. Plus, what’s awesome is that this display automatically turns on and off. It’s also IP67 rated, so it’s water and dust-resistant. And alongside the display are these solar panels. So if you use a bike frequently, you wouldn’t even need to charge this. Honestly, this is great at Rs. 2700/- because this has an accurate reading and it gives you the peace of mind on longer trips and even everyday riding.
GPS Tracker
This is a GPS tracker for your bike, and this has some really cool features. So this connects to the bike’s battery, and once done, you get all the details you want. This comes with a SIM card pre-installed, so you can check the real-time location of your bike, check out stats like distance travelled, average speed, and I love how it shows you your rides in a map with accurate speed details at specific locations. How cool is this? You can also set up a geofence, you get notifications when your bike is turned on, but what’s cool is that it even brings you alerts in case of motion, even when the bike is turned off. That is very useful. See, this costs Rs. 1800/-, and if you worry about the safety of your bike a lot, you absolutely need this.
Portable Paddock Stand
Next up is this Portable Paddock Stand every rider needs. It’s simple, just move your bike over this, and now you can use this for general maintenance. Be it chain lubing, tyre cleaning, anything. It even comes with this brush for cleaning. Now this roller works with both wheels and has these anti-skid rubber pads at the bottom, which make sure that the bike doesn’t skid when doing general maintenance. I also like that the rollers have a bit of resistance, which means the tyres don’t move freely, which is good. Apart from this, it feels very heavy-duty, and I love how portable this is. You can carry it on the go. Now this comes in different versions for different bike sizes, and the one we have costs Rs. 1000.
Portable Tyre Inflator
This is a Portable Tyre Inflator, and I know there are several options out there, but I’ve been using this, and this is very good. I mean, you just turn it on, connect it to the nozzle on the tyre, set the air pressure and now turn this on, and this will top up your tyre’s pressure and even fully inflate a tyre. So this works well, and this display is especially handy. It’s visible outdoors, it has different presets for cars, bikes, bicycles and even football or basketball. There are even different nozzles here for the sake. This also has a torch built in, in case you have to inflate a tyre at night. As for the battery, the 2000 mAh battery can fully inflate two tyres on a single charge and this has USB-C charging which is something I always like. I also like how portable this is, and it comes with this really nice pouch, and as for the price, this costs Rs. 2700 on Amazon.
Bluetooth Headset
This is a Bluetooth Headset designed for bike helmets, and this is very useful if you’re someone who gets a lot of calls while riding. This has Velcro patches on the earpieces so you can attach it inside your helmet. Once set up, you can use this for calls, some light music and ya, this does not hamper your drive because you can still hear the horns around. Now what’s useful is that this has these controls that are accessible, so you can accept calls, increase or decrease volume. Plus, this lets you auto-answer calls while driving. The earpieces also have a sponge covering, which makes them very comfortable. At Rs. 1400, the 5-hour battery life is good, and this charges via micro-USB.
Now, the last two gadgets in the list are more towards making your bike rides more comfortable, but you need to check them out.
Helmet Interior Cleaner
First up is a helmet interior cleaner. See, let’s face it, helmets get dirty and smelly quite easily, and this is just perfect to clean things up. All you need to do is spray this uniformly inside the helmet, let it dry, and that’s it. This adds a pleasant smell to the helmet while sanitising things, and at Rs. 400, this is great value.
Gel Seat Cushion
Then there’s this seat cushion, which is absolutely perfect for daily rides and long trips, trust me. You can attach it to your bike seat using these clips, and that’s it. These are small pockets of gel that reshape and disperse the load evenly on the seat, and this honestly makes things so comfortable. This relieves stress on the tailbone, which is caused by a hard seat, and I also like that the base has a rubbery pattern, which makes sure that this does not move. This is basically a sofa for your bike.
All of the bike gadgets are available on Amazon and most of them are affordable car gadgets that make sense for a lot of people.
