Hero Glamour X 125 Launched in India – Price, Features, Mileage & Full Specs (2025)

Introducing the New Hero Glamour X 125

If you want an economical 125cc motorcycle, meet the new Hero Glamour X. Yes, the Glamour’s got the X Factor now. But what is that X Factor? I’ll give you a close look at the new Hero Glamour X.

Engine & Performance

Now, this engine is shared with the Hero Extreme 125, a premium motorcycle from Hero. So, it’s got the same specs, about 11.4 BHP of power, 10.5 Newton meters of torque. That engine is shared with the Hero Extreme 125R.

Segment-First Features: Ride-by-Wire & Modes

Now, coming to the X vector. This has got segment-first features ride by Y throttle, and it gets three ride modes. You can choose the modes from there. Three ride modes. It’s got a road mode for normal use, eco mode if you want more fuel economy, and a power mode for full performance. Top speed remains the same on all three modes, but each has a different uh throttle response and power delivery depending on what kind of conditions you want to use the bike for.

If you want fuel economy, go for eco. If you want normal riding in road conditions, road. If you want full power and go for the power mode, it also gets a full colour instrument console, and you can go to the mode settings. That’s road, power, eco. Quite a nice-looking instrument console there.

Design & Variants

And this bike, the design is completely new. As you can see, a lot of uh sharp panels on a tank here. It’s got the i3s, the start of the system that Hero calls i3s, which is already kitted out on this motorcycle. It’s available in two variants. A drum variant will cost you 89,999 rupees x showroom. Disc variant will cost you 10,000 rupees more at 99,00099 x showroom.

Optional Accessories

Now this bike has got a few accessories for which we don’t have the prices for yet, but this pillion back rest is an accessory that is not standard, and the scratch guard is also an accessory that’s not standard. The belly pen is also an accessory that’s not standard, and knuckle guards are also an accessory that’s not standard on the bike, plus this small fly screen here, those are accessories. So in a way, this is not the bike you’ll get for that price; those are the extras that you’ll have to pay for extra, but at the price of around a lakh rupees with the disc brake variant.

What do you think about the pricing for a 125 cc motorcycle now? Hero says this has been designed to give it road presence, to give it a bigger bike feel on the road. That’s the kind of research, and that’s the kind of feedback that they got from prospective customers, so this looks like a slightly bigger bike than a usual 125 cc motorcycle. Seat height 790 mm, not very tall. So, keeping customer consideration in mind. So, that’s it.

The Ultimate X-Factor: Cruise Control

And of course, in terms of the X factor, one more important feature, and that is in this button here. This is the cruise control switch. The Glamour X is the only 125cc motorcycle on sale in the market right now that has cruise control, wired with three riding modes. Of course, I’ve really well laid out an instrument console for you to toggle through all the features and everything.
